Clone Trooper Armor Pepakura Files Foam
It has always been a desire of mine to be part of the Star Wars saga. Sure, I may never be lucky enough to have my own purple lightsaber. Now I think I can build something just as epic..I hope. I would like to build a Clone Trooper(Commander Rex) out of cardstock, fiberglass and bondo. I have done a foam build and I really liked the results. I made many mistakes along the way and I am confident I can build a much better foam suit next time. This time, I really want to give the 'other' way a shot. I really like the more realistic armor look and feel that this provides when done well. The very first thing I did was download Fierfek's Star Wars files that he provided for everyone. A big thank you sir . I decided to use my brother as the victim/model. With the help of his wife, we wrapped him in plastic, mummified him in duct tape, and tada.. I have the foundation for a 'heavier than average' clonetrooper. The scale I used seemed large at first. After I threw the chest piece on the duct tape, it seemed to fit fine. I think I want to do adjustments to it after i build the back piece just so the arms can be crossed. I hope those man boobs are supposed to look like that. Here are some pics of my progress so far.
P.S. I would greatly appreciate any advice along the way. Doing anything for the first time can really take the fun out of it when not done right.
